Angela Franks Wells is a photography-based artist who specializes in 19th century photographic processes and is a master at copperplate photogravure. Her recent creative endeavors are about playful investigation and finding and maintaining levity.

 

Angela is a Professor of Photography, Graduate Program Director, and an Assistant Director of the School of Art and Design at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She mentors emerging artists and creates spaces where curiosity, generosity, and creative risk-taking can flourish.
